Marie Greenhalgh

Marie Greenhalgh is founder/director of Wythenshawe Good Neighbours and an advocate for older people through her role as Deputy Chair of the Age Friendly Board Manchester. Marie is also keen to explore pension inequality for women and as a member of the advisory group for the award-winning Uncertain Futures project, she is especially interested in exploring work and health inequalities for women who are aged over 50 in Wythenshawe/Manchester. Her role as creative lead with MLCO Stronger Routes for better health together echoes this interest. Marie is also an independent writer and short film maker through her initiative www.captainslegcollab.  Marie is also chair of the newly constituted group www.soundsmint.co.uk and is  excited about the opportunities this will bring in broadcast journalism, creating podcasts and covering topical issues in her community and beyond.
